DIGITAL LEARNING

AFFLIP established the Digital Learning Project in early 2023, inspired principally by a $75,000 commitment from our major project sponsor AXI Financial Services.
The project aims to enhance learning opportunities in the digital realm for grade 4, 5 and 6 students in Talomo - supporting children to become literate and confident in interacting with digital environments, digital learning resources and digital frameworks.
In November 2023, 360 refurbished ex-corporate laptops were distributed across the Talomo schools under the supervision of our project’s supply partner, LiteHaus International. Since then, an additional 265 laptops have been supplied, supporting individual access for a full class of up to 45 students in each school.
In August 2025, the DLP funded a pilot robotics project with the Talomo Central Elementary School and Davao City Special School, which will be expanded through the current school year.
