Through practical educational strategies our work is giving real hope to young people living in some of the poorest areas of the Philippines.
SCHOLARSHIPS

The Scholarships program provides annual grants of $100 which are designed to encourage students at risk of dropping out to stay at school and engage with the curriculum, with the full support of their parents.
The provision of funds from private sponsors pays for school fees, books, uniforms, and extra curricula activities. 620 children have received 3-year scholarships since the scheme was first established in 2013 and over that time sponsors have contributed over $132,000.
One recent exciting initiative is the development of an alumni data base through which we can track our scholars’ progress post elementary into high school and tertiary education.
It is our understanding that all but one of our scholars have completed elementary school and progressed to high school.
Haigh’s Chocolates, Finstro, and My Care Solution have been major partners over the last few years in the provision of scholarships initially for Grade 4 children.
There are currently 300 children receiving a scholarship.
